Biatain, a company specialising in wound dressing products, selected a custom-made pocket-sized PocketMedia Z-Card as the medium to distribute a Coloplast sample, product information and business card.
The front cover of the Z-Card has been manufactured with a half pouch so a Coloplast sample can be inserted. The back cover contains two half-moon slots for Coloplast sales reps to insert their business card.
The Z-Cards are being distributed to surgical units in state and private hospitals and clinics still using traditional dressing methods.
“Due to strong competition and new entrants in the surgical device industry, we were looking for a product that would differentiate us by communicating our unique features and extensive scientific evidence that backs our claims,” says Wound Care Marketing Manager, Thuli Langa. “We also want to drive the message around moist wound healing to consumers.”
The Z-Cards form part of its national, multi-media campaign which runs until 2013.
