Blacksmith Collective has appointed Tribeca Public Relations as its PR and communications partner, after a successful initial project made the company realise the potential that an ongoing relationship with the Tribeca team could achieve.
Blacksmith Collective is an innovative production collective specialising in content creation and creative problem solving. Founded by creative entrepreneurs Diogo Mendonça and Marcus von Geyso, Blacksmith Collective takes an unconventional approach to production, with their network of over 200 creative partners in South Africa. They believe in creating unique, specialised teams for each project they work on, ensuring that the quality of the work they produce is always the priority.
The company has worked with multiple local and international brands, including Castle Lite, Castle Lager, Opel, Budweiser, Shell, Corona and Visa, and have collaborated with some of the biggest agencies in the industry, such as Ogilvy & Mather South Africa, King James II, Joe Public, Isobar and TBWA.
“Tribeca has an established record of working with start-ups and agencies, helping them put the word out that they are skilled, trusted partners to potential clients,” says Cian Mac Eochaid, co-owner of Tribeca Public Relations. “Having built our own business from scratch, we understand the challenges that entrepreneurs in agencies face, and we thrive on helping companies like Blacksmith Collective talk to the people important to their business.”
