Fizz Marketing empowers long standing staff and transforms to majority black shareholding

Fizz Marketing, specialists in tailored event management services, has signed an empowerment deal that sees its black shareholding increase to 50.2%, and is officially a B-BBEE Level 2 company.

“Empowerment is at the heart of the Fizz Marketing company culture,” says founder and Director Celeste Whitaker. “Thabile Mdletshe, who has been within the company for ten years, has established her value as a true partner in the business, and we agreed that the time had come to formalise our long-standing partnership.”

Fizz Marketing’s empowerment programme has long ensured mentorship and training for the women within the business. Regular accredited business and leadership courses are provided for all staff, with a bursary awarded for a key staff member’s BCom studies and a new internship programme launched for young graduates.
