Cadbury P.S. donates 1205 dresses and suits through #PSLoveToGive campaign

Helping those in need is one of the best feelings in the world, especially for a magical night, like your Matric Farewell. Preparing for the big night can be a nightmare if you don’t have all the elements to make it a night to remember!

During July 2017 Cadbury P.S. challenged South Africans countrywide to donate their pre-loved dresses and suits to less fortunate girls and boys across the country, through the #PSLoveToGive campaign.

With 1205 dresses and suits collected, South Africans rallied together and dug in their cupboards to make the Matric Farewell for the class of 2017 a night they could enjoy with their friends.

A partnership with The Space clothing stores provided accessible drop-off points for those wanting to contribute nationwide. Hot FM ran a radio campaign throughout the month to ensure that Gauteng was aware of the campaign. Additionally, boosting the dress collection drive from a media and influencer point of view, was actress Hayley Owen, Hot FM Radio DJ Andy Leve, and Smash Afrika from YFM, who worked tirelessly with celebrity and corporate partners to drive even more donations.

The dresses and suits will be sent to The Fairy Godmother and The Cinderella Project, which will host days to distribute the dresses and suits to young men and women all over the country.
