At the close of the 10 day culinary extravaganza at the Golden Delight Kitchen, at the East Coast Radio Home and Garden show, GRUNDIG a premium appliance brand, donated two eye level ovens and a counter top hob valued at over R20 000 to the Ikusasa Culinary School.
Students from the underprivileged school mentored throughout the show’s duration, and were thrilled when on Sunday, the 9th of July, Rox-ann Govender, Brands communications manager for GRUNDIG, handed over the appliances to the Ikusasa Culinary Arts School.
“I am sure the students will make excellent use of the appliances” says Rox-ann Govender, Brand communications manager for GRUNDIG South Africa,, “and we were happy to see it go to such a deserving school”
