The University of Engineering and Technology of Peru (UTEC) has, in conjunction with its agency, designed and erected a potable water producing billboard.
Eye-catching
To announce first semester registration with an eye-catching and interest-creating advert, the billboard created harnesses humidity in the air and converts it to potable water.
How it works
The billboard has five water generators that, using an electrical system and a reverse osmosis process, converts atmospheric moisture into drinking water.
Each tank produces on average 20 litres of liquid that are stored into one tank, which can serve 100% purified water.
Location and size
The instalment was made in December and is approximately 20m high and located off of the Panamericana Sur highway.
The billboard has been erected in Bujama, Peru.
