Keeping it environmentally friendly
Piobox Trading assisted by PPC Cement retain an environmentally-friendly focus with regards to its branding.
The cement producer wanted new branded coffee mugs for giveaways. The brief (in summary) was that the mugs had to reflect the company’s logo, depict the industry the company specialised in and be eco-friendly.
“We developed different shades to best depict cement,” says Alan Pio, Piobox founder and owner, “and worked on styles of mugs best suited to PPC’s brand. This included, among others, the mug size, the logo and materials.”
A long process
The process took Piobox approximately a year from inception. “This was an extended project,” Alan is quick to point out, “and not the norm for an average project.”
The result: a PPC unique coffee mug which cannot be duplicated and is not only in line with the company’s corporate ID but is eco-friendly too. “We and the client were extremely happy with the result,” says Alan. “There is no doubt that the mug colour represents cement, as does the mug’s texture; the outside bowl of the mug encompasses all of PPC’s corporate brand, and the handle is fashioned in the shape of an elephant, part of the company’s logo.”
On the eco-friendly front the mug is made of clay and paint used is ‘environmentally approved.’
Once the mug was complete Piobox was requested to design a custom box for the mug in order to complete the overall package.
