Flow Communications has joined thenetworkone, the world’s largest and fastest-growing network of respected independent creative, media, public relations (PR) and marketing agencies. Joining thenetworkone is by invitation and Flow is only the third South African agency to receive this honour.
The network, a practical alternative to a conventional multinational advertising and marketing communications agency network owned by a single group, introduces members to new business, helps them take advantage of international opportunities and creates forums to share expertise. London based, thenetworkone benefits both brand owners and agencies.
Thenetworkone works with agencies covering all major communications disciplines, including advertising, public relations, media planning and buying, design, customer relationship management, digital communications, events, promotional marketing and related fields.
Marketers have access to “bespoke networks” of agencies that meet their specific needs, and agencies become part of a “custom-built network on demand”.
Only agencies accredited by thenetworkone, implying an endorsement of the agency’s quality and capabilities, are offered the opportunity to join the network. Membership provides independent agencies in any market with the resources to compete effectively with traditional multinational agency networks.
“Thenetworkone is the world’s largest network of independent agencies. Currently, we work with over 1 200 agencies across 109 countries – and we’re growing. Today, we are delighted to welcome Flow Communications to thenetworkone family. The agency has a strong spirit of independence and entrepreneurship that’s reflected in what they do and how they do it. Their positive ‘go-get’ attitude and willingness to learn and embrace ‘the new’, is exactly what the marketing clients we work with are looking for from their agencies right now. Welcome onboard!” says Paul Squirrell, director at thenetworkone.
“We’re delighted to join thenetworkone and look forward to playing even more than we already do in the global field and exploring new territories that our membership gives us access to,” says Flow’s managing director, Tiffany Turkington.
“We pride ourselves in creating communications and marketing partnerships that make a difference to businesses and we are excited about potential international agency collaborations that will extend our reach,” she adds. “At Flow, we believe in working with people we like on work we love, and on work that will make the world a better place. This is a fantastic opportunity to be able to work with international clients and partner agencies aligned with our values of integrity, reliability and transparency.”
Flow, which is staffed by about 65 experienced people, specialises in public relations, graphic design, content marketing, training offerings, branding, brand development, print management, web design and app development, social media and e-marketing. The agency prides itself in providing clients with personalised attention, backed by team problem-solving. Flow has won more than 50 awards since its inception in 2005.
“We provide integrated, high-quality solutions that encompass many different elements and draw on different skills. Our people are our biggest asset,” says Turkington.
Bheki Shongwe, Flow’s chairman, adds, “Flow continually looks for new and better ways of doing things. We’re willing to take risks to innovate and we’re proactive in helping clients to identify, scope and integrate their communications needs to leverage the maximum benefit.”
Flow Communications has its head office in Johannesburg, with branches in Cape Town and Durban. The company has worked in more than 30 countries to date.
