New TV ad airs in SA
Stories and storytelling are an integral part of Jack Daniel’s heritage, and the brand has been incorporating stories into its advertising since the 1950s. These stories share authentic details about Jack the man, and the whiskey he produced, back then, is today available in over 170 countries. In a new TV ad airing in South Africa and South America that tells the story of Jack’s independent ideas on how he crafted his whiskey, the viewer is given a taste of the brand’s real history, as revealed through Jack Daniel’s distinct label.
Megan Macnab, Jack Daniel’s Marketing Manager says, “Jack Daniel’s is uniquely positioned and a distinct brand, as it is one of very few brands that can let the product speak for itself, without needing an artificial world created around it. This independent authenticity is embodied in the iconic Old No. 7, through which product and storytelling are synonymous.”
This was the rationale behind the new ad, which focuses entirely on the iconic black and white labelled bottle. All of the key facts about the whiskey and the Jack Daniel Distillery that are detailed there are showcased by up-close camera angles and a voice over. You can watch the ad here.
The new ad launched in June on TV and digital. Visit Facebook at Facebook.com/Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Twitter @JackDanielsSA or Instagram @JackDaniels_SA
