WATCHPAX is a stand-alone media server with Dataton’s WATCHOUT™ multi-display and scheduling software built in. It is housed in a 127mm x 1048mm black aluminium enclosure and can be rack-mounted or discretely installed at the rear of a flat-panel display.
WATCHPAX gives systems integrators, live-events professionals and show designers all the capabilities of WATCHOUT, without having to fine-tune computers or run long video cables between each PC and its connected display source.
“The latest WATCHOUT version has Chinese-language support,” says Kenneth Cheung, CEO of Hong Kong-based Audio Visual Technique, Dataton’s Premium Partner for South-East Asia. “We are particularly pleased that the Bejing National Theatre is now specifying WATCHOUT for all productions that require AV display technology.”
“We believe that the compact form factor, ease of setup, reliability and many other assets of WATCHPAX will only increase the popularity of WATCHOUT, particularly at events where space for ‘back office’ technology is at a premium and in multi-room environments such as museums, visitor attractions and retail properties.”
WATCHPAX was launched globally at Integrated Systems Europe in Amsterdam earlier this year.
