Providing an integrated multi-channel future

An umbrella company offering advertisers and marketers integrated multichannel solutions has made its foray into the industry by combining four entities – two established and two under development. The aim, a one-stop-shop providing the correct mix of mediums for marketers to reach designated target audiences.

Change “inspired by vision”

Elton Ollerhead, Mediamark Managing Director, recently returned from a 14-year stint in the UK specialising in the online advertising industry. “This change in strategy,” he says, “is inspired by our vision for the future.  It is born out of our belief in the power of collective strength, the positive impact of joining forces for the better and an unwavering trust in people who share a common vision.” 

Four into one

The two companies re-branded under Mediamark are Radmark and Digitalmark, while a previous Mediamark Division TVmark has been incorporated into the full entity. To cover a wide a spectrum as possible, an additional offering is the inclusion of Mediamark Events. 

Radio and digital representation

Radmark, now Mediamark Radio, specializes in regional radio marketing and sales.  It represents East Coast Radio, Gagasi FM, Heart 104.9FM and Jacaranda FM; while Digitalmark, now Mediamark Digital, is a media marketing solutions provider in Africa. It has provided solutions for, among others,Howzit MSN, Windows Live, Hotmail, Sky Sports, Daily Maverick and Team Talk.

TV and events to grow substantially

TVmark, now Mediamark TV, has “a number of exciting projects in the pipeline,” according to Elton and it is envisaged that Mediamark Events will work in conjunction with Mediamark’s radio and digitaldivisions in partnership with the brands they represent. “The main aim is to bring brands and our audiences together utilizing different platforms,” he says.
