OHMSA – Out Of Home Media South Africa’s – drive to attract new members seems to be working.
Media owner Design Initiatives Outdoor Advertising has joined OHMSA as its newest member.
Operating primarily in Gauteng, the company provides out-of-home advertising opportunities on supersites, gantries, maxilites, citilites and spectaculars.
Sarel du Plessis, OHMSA’s executive director, said that the opportunity to contribute to the growth and direction of the out-of-home industry is possible when there is a united front. Hence, new membership indicates that the sector believes in OHMSA to represent their very best interests.
“We promise our new members the numerous benefits of membership: easy access to out-of-home media resources; the opportunity to contribute towards the development of industry guidelines and a code of conduct; networking; greater representation of interests, among others,” he said.
